Robert Kirkman and Greg Nicotero (who produce the original series) are executive producers here, so you can expect suspense, gore and … zombies. The main reason to tune in is the great banter and chemistry between Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair, who play best friends trying help each other cope with everyday life. It doesn’t hurt that the great comic supporting cast includes Keegan-Michael Key, Jane Kaczmarek, Zach Woods and Brad Morris. Season premiere, 10 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, on USA.
